• Club Green Thumb

    Club Green Thumb made its return to Sierra Verde on October 4, 2017.  A DonnorsChoose Grant was written and fully funded in 3 days.  Materials arrived within a week and the club has begun constructing a solar-powered hydroponic tower garden! This new garden will complement the existing raised bed soil-based garden.

    This year, students will compare vegetables grown in the two systems. Our young gardeners are very thankful for the support from our Sierra Verde community, our Deer Valley community, and family members for supporting this new and innovative project!
