Welcome to Fifth Grade at Sonoran Foothills! I will be your language arts teacher! Each day, you will have a 75 minute ELA block where we will not only read and write, but analyze, discuss, share, create, and challenge our minds!
I am very excited to start a new year at Sonoran Foothills. I have previously taught in the Washington Elementary School Distict and in the Deer Valley School District at both Legend Springs and Arrowhead. Intermediate grades are my favorite and that is where I have done most of my 16 years of teaching. I have my provisonal gifted endoresement and am highly qualified in middle school language arts and social studies.
I have two high school daughters in the IB program at Barry Goldwater. Both are memebers of the Jataba Dance Troupe and they spend most of their free time dancing!
Fifth grade will be a very significant year as the students make the transition from elementary to middle school and I look forward to working together to follow the Bobcats TRACKS to success! I know that together we will have a very successful 2021-2022 year at Sonoran Foothills!
