Welcome to English! I am very excited to be a part of Boulder Creek, and to be teaching Language Arts! 

I am originally from Detroit, Michigan (and I still consider myself a Michigan Girl!) My family moved to Tucson, then 好色导航, where I met my husband while we were attending ASU. I have two children, a son and a daughter. When not teaching, I am enjoying time with my family, watching my kids play baseball or tennis, cooking, or reading.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Arizona State University. I also have a Master of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Master of Arts in English, both from Northern Arizona University. This is my 21st year of teaching. I have taught elementary, high school, and college. I have also taught a range of subjects from Art History, Literature, Film, Public Speaking, Critical Thinking, History and, of course, English!
