I was born and raised in little old Connecticut! My family (husband and two sons) took the cross-country drive out here in July 2012 and now call Arizona home. I'm not going to lie... I love the heat and the sun. Even though they don't compare to the East Coast, winters out here are still too cold for me..... Brrrrr

Outside of school hours, I love spending time with family and friends. We love to play games (cards, board games, and family sports) together, whether we are inside or outside.  My greatest pleasure is watching my children grow and mature into adulthood.  I have found a great love for the game of Pickle Ball!! Who knew how much fun it would be!? When we aren't out and about, we love to get wrapped up in a good Netflix binge :-)

I taught at Gavilan Peak for the past 11 years, teaching mainly 5th through 8th grade math and social studies. I'm excited to be a part of the Terramar family and focus my passions on 4th grade ELA and Social Studies. 

Both of my children graduated from GP and I truly believe in the wonderful educators and staff there. My oldest son is currently attending GCC and my youngest is a freshman at GCU. They both keep busy with school, work and friends.  I enjoy getting to know all of my students, their friends and family. There's nothing better than going to the baseball fields, grocery store, or wherever I am and seeing my students out and about. So be sure to say "Hi" to me when you see me!
