Hello and WELCOME TO THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR!!!!

I am so excited to spend this year with your student!  I have been teaching special education at Canyon Springs for the last four years.  This will be my first year teaching 8th grade math as the primary instructor rather than as the special education co-teacher.  When I was approached to make the change, I immediately obtained my secondary teaching certificate and certified in the area of middle grades math.  Despite this being my first year as the classroom teacher, I am very familiar with the 8th grade math curriculum - and having worked with last year's 7th graders I am also very familiar with your students!  I will also teach Math180 as a first hour elective for students needing a little extra support in math.
