This is my 4th year teaching at Stetson Hills. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northern Arizona University in 1996. I was fortunate to be able to stay home with my children for 13 years and enjoyed volunteering at their schools and in PTA. I worked as a substitute teacher for several years at the elementary, middle, and high school level. This is where I discovered I enjoyed working with special education students. I earned my mild/moderate special education teaching certificate in December 2022 through Rio Salado College. 

I have been married to my husband Tony for 25 years and have two sons, Michael and Nick. Michael attends Arizona State University and studies Conservation Biology. He is set to graduate in May 2025. My youngest son, Nick, is a senior at Mountain Ridge High School. We also have a beagle named Dillon. I enjoy reading, attending group fitness classes (Pilates, Barre, Yoga), and spending time with my family.
