I am so happy to be a member of the EL team!  This is my 17th year teaching in the Deer Valley district, my fourth year teaching EL students and my second year at Sierra Verde. I've had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten and 1st Grade as well as Kindergarten - 6th grade English Language Learners. The motivation of my students inspires me daily, and I love celebrating their success throughout the school year and beyond.  

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (K-8) and endorsements in Early Childhood Education and Structured English Immersion (K-12). I achieved National Board Certification in 2020, completed an endorsement in Gifted Education in 2021, and a Middle Grades ELA certificate in 2023. I am honored to be a Deer Valley Education Foundation and 好色导航2021-2022 Teacher of the Year.
