    I am thrilled and deeply honored to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Diamond Canyon School. Joining this esteemed community is a privilege, and I am eager to begin meeting each of you and contributing to the growth and success of our students. 

     

    A little about myself, I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, surrounded by a family of educators who instilled in me a love for learning and teaching. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Arizona State University and continued my educational journey with two Master’s degrees, one in Reading and Literacy and Another in Educational Leadership.

     

    With 16 years dedicated to education, my career path includes 6 years as a middle school teacher, 1 year as a Dean of Students, and 9 years as an Assistant Principal within the Glendale Elementary School District. I am excited to bring my experience and passion to Diamond Canyon, supporting our school’s legacy of excellence, positivity, and community.

     

    Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and daughter. Some of our favorite activities to do as a family include hiking, road trips and music. I am delighted to share that my daughter will also be joining Diamond Canyon this year as a first grader.

     

    I am eager to begin this new school year! I look forward to collaborating with all of our educators, families and community members to work together to foster an environment where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.
