Welcome to 7th Grade Social Studies! I am Mr. Lee, and I am honored to teach this engaging course and work with the exceptional students at West Wing as they progress in their academic journey. I am a native of Arizona and an alumnus of Grand Canyon University, where I graduated with Honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History for Secondary Education with a Minor in Pre-Law. My passion for history and its impact on our world has been with me since I was in 7th grade. Throughout this academic year, we will explore a comprehensive curriculum, covering 7 units, ranging from the Enlightenment to the contemporary world. Moreover, personal development, including leadership, responsibility, and effective communication, will be integral parts of our daily lessons. I am a firm believer that today's students are the future change-makers, and it is my responsibility to equip them to make a positive impact on the world. I am eagerly anticipating the upcoming school year and getting to know each and every one of you better!
