DVUSD's Commitment to Student Well-Being and Privacy

好色导航prioritizes student well-being, ensuring digital resources adhere to strict privacy guidelines and student data is handled securely. The district emphasizes responsible implementation and thoughtful consideration when utilizing digital tools including AI, guiding students to do the same. Some Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are not approved by the developers for individuals under 13 due to data privacy implications and some restrict use to ages 18+. While some digital tools leveraging forms of AI may be utilized by students, the privacy implications of digital tools need to be reviewed for adherence to 好色导航privacy guidance. Any website where students create an account (including signing in with Google) must be evaluated through the 好色导航Software Approval Process.

The 好色导航Software Approval process applies to the evaluation and selection of AI tools. Resources must be approved prior to use of a tool with students or with a staff account. Approval of use does NOT indicate the availability of paid licenses. When available, users should sign in with 好色导航credentials - SSO, Clever, Google. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) should not be input by users into digital tools.

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) features are integrated into many digital tools. Below is a list of digital tools with generative AI features that are approved for use in 好色导航by specified student groups with teacher guidance.
