Hi, I am Ms. Lowery! 

I was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington and the sunshine brought me to Arizona for college. I am a big lover of country music, all animals and anything pink. In my spare time you can find me volunteering at the Arizona Human Society or hanging out with my wonderful friends. 

I got my degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in spring 2024. Go Lopes! I had the wonderful opportunity to work at CS with the kindergarten team for my practicum and do my student teaching with Sheila Fields. I was able to learn so much from her and fell even more in love with teaching. When the 2nd grade position  opened up, I jumped at the opportunity to stay at CS. 

When it comes to teaching, I am all about hands on learning and learning through play. I am eager to foster a love for learning in my classroom by developing relationships with students and learning how to best meet their individual needs. 

My 2nd grade team and I have so many fun and exciting things planned for this coming year, and we can not wait to meet your second-graders!
