Mrs. Amy Vlasity
Hello, my name is Amy Vlasity, and I am the Dean of Students at Arrowhead and Greenbrier Elementary School. This year will be my 29th year in education. I have taught kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 4th grade, and art for 23 years. Before becoming the Dean, I served as the Instructional Coach at Desert Sky Middle School for three years. This year will be my third year as Dean at Arrowhead and second year as Dean at Greenbrier. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood from ASU West and two Master's degrees in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids and son-in-law, Olivia, Aaron, William, and Adam. We love to travel, spend time at the beach, and visit our cabin up north. I look forward to working with all the students and families in these two amazing Deer Valley Schools. It's going to be a fantastic 2024-2025 school year!
