Hi my name is Nikki Bartel.  I am the service coordinator for 4th and 5th grade at Sunset Ridge.  I truly love working at Sunset Ridge and working with your children.  I have a bachelors in special education and a master's in reading.  I have been a teacher since 1997.  My previous experience was in developmental preschool.  My experience has included working with students with autism, emotional disabilities as well as intellectual disabilities.  I want to be able to meet the needs of the student as well as the parents.  Please feel free to contact me at anytime with any concerns, questions, etc.  Email is the best way to reach me.  You can contact me through  my email at an any time.  Teaching and helping your child grow and learn is my passion and I am looking forward to helping your child reach their full potential.

We will be in contact throughout the year through parent teacher conferences, iep meetings as well.  Progress will be sent through progress reports.  I will use email and phone to communicate with you.  Please don't hesitate to contact me at any time.
