• Girls on the Run will be back in 2025 with a brand-new curriculum!  This activity-based, youth development program is for girls in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  It starts on February 4 and ends on April 26 with a county-wide 5k fun run.  Meetings will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 - 5:15 on the Sierra Verde STEAM Academy campus.  Our coaches will be Linda O'Berry (SV Substitute Teacher), Julie Harpt (Community Volunteer), Barb Willis (former SV 1st Grade Teacher), and Lori Swafford (SV Paraprofessional).  The cost is $200 for curriculum materials, t-shirt, water bottle, 5k race entry, swag and more!  Registration begins November 1st and ends November 30th.  For more information about this wonderful program, please see the attached flyer, view the videos  and , and visit the local Girls on the Run website: .  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. O'Berry at Lsoberry@ymail.com.
