Greetings and Salutations! My name is Sara Fridley and I am a Special Education Teacher here at Desert Sage. Please let me introduce myself.
I moved from Sioux City, Iowa to Arizona 25 years ago. I have an 21-year-old daughter and she is a senior at the University of Arizona Honors College in Tucson. I have two adorable cats – Daisy and Tori, and we live in Glendale, Arizona.
I have been a Special Education Teacher for 25 years and this is my 18th year at Desert Sage. I love working with kids and teaching them to read and write. The look on their faces, when they learn a new skill, is priceless.
I believe that all children can learn, and we as teachers just need to figure out the best way to teach them. This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from Holman, “Every person is gifted in some area. We just have to find out what.”
