Hello!

My name is Shawn Beverly and I'm excited about starting another year of teaching!  I was born and raised in the great state of Indiana.   I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis in December of 2015. While attending college, I did my student teaching for the Indianapolis Public School District. I had the opportunity to complete my student teaching experience in third and sixth grade!

 I moved to Arizona directly after I graduated to enjoy the warm weather. When I'm not working, I enjoy watching scary movies, singing karaoke, going on road trips, hiking, and lounging poolside! Over the summer I was able to do a lot of traveling and get lots of sun!

I am passionate about student learning and student engagement in the classroom! I believe that for a child to learn, they must be interested in the curriculum that is being presented to them.  It's my job, as their teacher, to find ways to present the information in a way that intrigues the students!
