Students are expected to respect the rights of others and to conduct themselves in a safe and orderly fashion. Their behavior should be such that it does not promote harm to themselves or to others.
Disciplinary action is taken in situations involving students who do not follow conduct guidelines.
If the teacher or the principal feels that a student’s behavior is continually causing problems, the parents will be informed and asked to work with the school toward a solution.
School discipline rules and procedures links are provided on the school website and signature pages are sent home for parents to confirm that they have been read and reviewed with their child. These rules and procedures are based on the district’s Student Rights & Responsibilities, which each family has access to at the beginning of each school year.
