Reading

Math
i-Ready Mathematics is an online custom math curriculum that provides students of all ages with differentiated instruction and supports them on their individual paths to success. Backed by cutting-edge research on best mathematics learning practices, students gain experience through concrete examples and engaging lessons. This personalized math curriculum features responsive instruction that provides consistent insight into student understanding and performance, enabling teachers to monitor their students’ progress and help them prepare for standards-based assessments and beyond.
Writing
Into Reading incorporates Writing Workshops, which turn readers into writers! Authentic literature focal texts kick off every module of writing. Students will learn the basics of writing conventions as they analyze a writer's craft, explore various genres, and grow in mastery.
Science
We will be learning through various investigations about matter and energy, the Earth and sky, and organisms.
Social Studies
We will focus our learning on why it's important to learn about the past. We will explore how geography helps us understand our world, how we get what we want and need, why we need a government, and how people make a difference in our world.
