I am looking forward to another year at Las Brisas!  I have been teaching for 13 years, all in DVUSD. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, and multi-age ESL. This is my eighth year focusing on gifted education, second in Renaissance. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and endorsements in Structured English Immersion and Gifted Education.

 

I foster a classroom atmosphere of collaboration, exploration, curiosity, discovery, fun, and challenge. 

 

On a personal note, I am a multi-generational Arizona native.  My husband, Rob, and I have three wonderful grown children, whom we are extremely proud of and our first granddaughter is due in October!  I love creating art, reading, exploring Arizona, doing yoga, and TEACHING!!!
