• Ms. Zhou

    Hello,

I’m Ms.Zhou. The second grade Mandarin teacher. I will be teaching your children math, Mandarin, and science this school year.

I was born in Hangzhou, China. Hangzhou is an incredible and historic city in China. There’s a heap of the best things to do in Hangzhou, such as visiting attractions of natural beauty, learning how to make tea, and tasting delicious food.

I graduated from Michigan State University with a major in Elementary Education. During my senior year of student teaching, I found I was interested in bilingual teaching and decided to study bilingual education. Then, I spent two years studying bilingual education at Teachers College, Columbia University for my master’s degree. I have worked as a bilingual teacher in classrooms in New York.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, listening to music, swimming, watching movies, and exploring restaurants.

In the classroom, I believe every child has unique talents and strengths. I can’t wait to spend a year learning and growing with every student. This year is going to be full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries!
