I am honored to be part of the 5th grade team here at Desert Sage.  This will be my first year returning to teaching full time after taking fifteen years off to raise a family. I am married and have two teenage daughters, both of which attended Desert Sage.  When I’m not teaching, I am also a group fitness and cycle instructor.  I also love paddleboarding, reading, and spending time with my family.

I am a graduate of Arizona State University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies and minored in Communications.  I then returned to school to earn my teaching credential in elementary education. I taught sixth grade for three years, and I have been a substitute teacher here in the district for the past seven years. Last year, I taught special education here at Desert Sage.   I am so excited to get back into the classroom full time.  My love of kids inspires me to assure that each of my students feels valued and performs to the best of their ability.
