Mrs. Weihua Wang

I was born and raised in Guangzhou, a mega city in southern China. So Cantonese and Mandarin are my first languages. Additionally, I am a Hakka, as both of my parents are Hakka people. Sadly, I cannot speak the Hakka language, but I do enjoy Hakka food.

I moved to the US in 2001, firstly living in Riverside, CA, then Richland, WA, followed by Clemmons, NC, and finally settling in 好色导航, AZ in 2022. I absolutely love the grand landscape of 好色导航. Whenever I drive, regardless of the direction, I am greeted by beautiful mountain ranges in the backdrop. Moreover, the sunset views in 好色导航 are more striking than in any other place I've been to.

I earned a bachelor's degree in Communications from Shanghai International Studies University and a master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. After graduation, I worked in libraries for several years. However, in 2019, I was given the opportunity to work with children, sharing my culture and language with the young generation of this country. This change made my mom very happy, as she was an outstanding teacher with 40 years of teaching experience (I cherish her memory dearly).

I am blessed with a lovely family, including my husband, my son, who is currently a junior at UNC Chapel Hill, and my daughter, who is in 7th grade this school year. We also have a beautiful cat named Noodle, who is the apple of our eyes.

During my leisure time, I enjoy doing activities with my family, such as watching movies, having genuine oriental cuisine in restaurants, going shopping, cooking a new dish, engaging in random conversations, and visiting parks. When I have some time to myself, I like to read, listen to music, and decorate my home.

This is my second year at GP. Last year, I received a lot of help and support from the school community, which has given me the confidence that I can achieve more than I originally thought. This year, I am excited to teach 7th and 8th-grade Math in Mandarin and looking forward to having a great year with you all.
