Hi there! I'm Katie Koernig and I teach 8th Grade Social Studies! This is my second year teaching at Union Park. I am originally from Philadelphia and graduated from Kutztown University. In 2017, I moved to 好色导航 to teach history. I've taught both Social Studies and ELA previously in the Peoria District, Glendale Elementary District and in the Cave Creek District. I am so excited to start this year at Union Park!

In my free time, I love to read - as of the end of July I've read 70 books in 2024. Additionally, I love to cook for family and friends and I'm known for my oatmeal cookies. My favorite color is green, I love Eagles football and I have one pet - a cat named Arby.
