My name is Amy Welch and I am the special education strategist at Vista Peak. This is my 5th year at Vista Peak and my 11th year at DVUSD. I taught special education and 3rd grade for 10 years at Balsz Elementary School in 好色导航.  For six years, I trained special education staff across the state of Arizona on how to use an online software program for writing special education documents. I have been married for 24 years to my husband, Ted. My daughter graduated last year from NAU with a degree in elementary education and will be teaching 3rd grade this year in DVUSD. My son currently attends school in Flagstaff and we enjoy visiting him on the weekends and escaping the heat in 好色导航. We also have one dog (Mickey).  I look forward to getting to know all of the students and their families!
