Welcome to 3rd Grade!
My name is Sarah Dressman.I am in my 12th year as a teacher at Greenbrier Elementary. I have taught several different grades during my time here. My very first year was in 5th grade. The next year, I moved to 3rd, where I stayed for 5 years, then into 2nd grade for one year. Now back where I feel most at home, in 3rd grade!!
I have the skills and ability to make students enjoy learning! It is important to me to have life-long learners in the world. I am blessed each and every year to have students in my class. And I will strive to show them love and encouragement to be their best selves! I will be the biggest fan of their learning journey! I will root for them in their wins and losses because I believe in each of you!
I am a Glendale native! I went to Arrowhead from K-3rd, then Legend Springs from 4th-6th, next to Highland Lakes Elementary for middle school, and I am a proud Mountain Ridge High School graduate. I then moved on to college, where I graduated from Glendale Community College with an Associate in Arts. Next, I got my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I had the pleasure of staying home and being part of a cohort at GCC for this degree. Finally, I received my SEI endorsement.
I am a mom of two little ones. Bartolo, my ridiculously smart 7-year-old. He is now a 2nd grader here at Greenbrier. Then there is Madison, my wild but beautiful 5-year-old and new Kindergartner at GB. I am also blessed to have my bonus daughter, Sophia, who is now a mom herself. I am a step-grandma to 2-year-old, Aurora. For fun, I love spending my free time with family. We love to go bowling, swimming, and eat out. Sushi is our FAVORITE! We are also huge baseball fans and will most likely be at a baseball game when the Dodgers are in town! GO DODGERS!
