My name is Mr. Philip J. (P.J.) Stephens, and I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. I enjoy golf, hiking, biking, and all other outdoor activities. Currently, I am working on restoring/maintaining an old house in downtown 好色导航, Arizona. I received my BA degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and my Masters degree from Grand Canyon University. I have my Highly Qualified Middle School Math and Social Studies Endorsement. I completed my student teaching at Wheeler Elementary in Tucson and am in my twenty-seventh year of teaching. I have taught all grades eighth down to second grade, in different schools in TUSD and DVUSD. I have found that middle school level is where I belong. I am proud to be a Falcon!

I chose teaching as my profession after having been in the business world for many years. I came to the teaching profession because I believe that this is where we will best be able to insure that our country will continue to be at the top of the world both economically and socially. My goal, my mission as a teacher, is to dedicate myself to giving each student the knowledge/skills/strategies to help them be successful both in school and in their later endeavors. I hold very high expectations for your children and will help them to set short and long-term goals to meet those expectations.
