This is my 26th year of teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District. I am one of six proud teachers in my immediate family.  I have taught at one other school in the district and moved over to Legend Springs during its very first year. I quickly fell in love with this school and community.  I am truly blessed to work in such an amazing place!  I've taught grades first, second, and fourth and fifth.  In 1999, I earned my Bachelors in Education from Arizona State University.  I also have an Early Childhood Endorsement and an SEI Endorsement. 

This is my 14th year in fourth grade, and it is my absolute favorite age! Each year I look forward to their kind hearts, sweet smiles, and academic accomplishments.  I love watching children develop and grow throughout the year!  

 

In my spare time, I love to read, do puzzles, watch movies, and spend time with my children and "grand dogs".  :0)
