Classroom Expectations

    Classroom expectations will directly align with school expectations.

    ·        Be Responsible

                 Be at your class when the bell rings                                    
                 Follow school dress code
                 Have assignments and homework completed daily             
                 Follow technology policy
                 Be on task and focused 

    ·       Be Respectful

                  Voices off during announcements                                     
                  Use  appropriate language and voice levels
                  Raise your hand to speak                                                 
                  Use good manners and kind words
                  Voices off when the teacher or peers are speaking             
                  Have a positive attitude

    ·       Be Safe

                 Follow directions                                                               
                 Walking at all times
                 Appropriate use and clean up of materials and supplies       
                 Stay in supervised areas
                 Keep hands, feet and body to yourself

    SIT: RESPONSE TO INTERVENTION – BEHAVIOR

    (The HMS School-Wide Prevention Program)

    Students are expected to conduct themselves in a proper manner at all times.  Specific guidelines are outlined in the 好色导航Student Rights and Responsibility (SR & R) Handbook.  The school rules apply coming to school, going home from school, and at all school-sponsored events.  General misbehavior is handled by the classroom teacher in the following manner:

     

    PROGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONS

    Step 1: Universal Interventions (Warning/Redirection)

    Step 2: 1st Minor Incident Report with Interventions

    Step 3: 2nd Minor Incident Report with Interventions and Parent Email

    Step 4: 3rd Minor Incident Report with Interventions and Parent Phone Call

    Step 5: Major Behavior Referral

    Consequences for inappropriate behavior will be given according to the 好色导航discipline guidelines as outlined in the Student Rights and Responsibility (SR & R) Handbook.
