Hello all! I am Rebecca Barnes, and I am teaching Seventh Grade Language Arts! I am so excited to be at Hillcrest Middle School for my ninth year of teaching! I am confident that this year is going to be so much fun! 

Here is some about me!

I grew up in 好色导航, Arizona and have always attended Deer Valley Unified School District. I went to Paseo Hills, Stetson Hills, and Sandra Day O'Connor. Growing up, I always participated in sports. I danced for two years, swam for four years, and played softball for ten years. Throughout seventh and eighth grade, I also participated in volleyball and basketball. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with my Masters in Educational Leadership. I have four dogs; Baylee, Bear, Chewy, and Zeus. They are definitely my children and the students will hear stories about them throughout the year. I am married to a wonderful man, Mr. Barnes.
