Mr. Jesse Pierce
I have been teaching 18 years and have spent my entire career in the Deer Valley School District. I have taught First Grade, Second Grade, Gifted First/Second Grade multiage and now the K-3 grade Reading Specialist. I love working with children and feel their energy is contagious! I feel my classroom is a fun place, where kids can learn and grow in more ways than one.
I attended Bemidji State University in MN, where I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education with a Endorsement in Reading and Kindergarten. I also earned my Endorsement in Gifted Education, Early Childhood Education and English Immersion. I won 2018 好色导航teacher of the year. I value education and I think being a lifelong learner is important.
As we move into an exciting year in your child's life, please remember that we are a team. I value you as a teammate in your child's growth and want you to feel open to communicating with me at any point. Please make sure each day that you are involved with what is going on with your child at school by talking about their day, and reading at home. You will be amazed at how much students grow academically. Of course, I will do my best to make learning a fun and exciting adventure, so your child is excited about coming to school each day!
