Ms. Gould

Welcome! This will be my 8th year in Special Education, and my third year at Park. I took a few trainings this summer. One was for STAR curriculum which is an ABA approach to helping increase communication both verbal and nonverbal. I was trained in TEACH which has the approach to collaboratively work with parents, therapists, teachers, and the student to help them develop work habits. I also did more training on our modified curriculum to assist with collecting more academic data as well as provide some at home practice if you want to do so.

Special education is a passion of mine. I have worked with students with autism, developmental delays, ADHD, Multiple Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities, Downs Syndrome, Mild intellectual Disabilities, Emotional Disabilities, and more. I am a firm believer that ALL children are capable of success. My job is to provide them the tools and strategies to increase independence as well as future career readiness.

Outside of school, I am a parent to 3 beautiful kids. My oldest is in 4th grade here at Park. My middle child is in developmental preschool in the district. My youngest is 18 months old. My family is so important to me!
