Hi all!

I am Sarah LaCorte and I am currently the science teacher for team 8-2.

This is my ninth year working in education and sixth year at Hillcrest Middle School. Prior to teaching middle school science, I worked primarily with second graders at a local private school. As we navigate through another school year, I am excited about getting to know my students.

I have two undergraduate degrees in education and finishing my graduate degree in curriculum and instruction. I cheered in college during my freshman year and began coaching cheer as well. I have had the privilege of being a cheer coach for 6 years. My cheer teams have brought home both national and state titles. 

Though I was raised here in 好色导航, I am originally from England. I grew up and graduated from DVUSD. I went on to pursue nursing at GCU before switching to ASU and finding my passion for teaching. My favorite part of teaching is seeing the growth my students have made as humans. My goal is for them to leave my class as better humans.
