Mr. Livingston

Welcome 2024-2025 Trojan Warriors!

I hope you all have enjoyed a great summer break! I spent my summer visiting family and friends. I’m Mr. Livingston. I’m from Carson, California. I grew up in California and school has always been a safe haven for me and my classroom will be a safe haven for all students. I graduated from Arizona Christian University with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. This will be my second year teaching at Park Meadows and we will continue to learn important skills and build on prior knowledge. In Second grade,  academic and social-emotional skills are developed as students become successful learners.  Successful learners strengthen their skills by learning how to study, organize, use responsible thinking, and citizenship.  I choose personal accountability and responsibility  as a goal for each student.  I’m firm on this issue and feel that I am supporting my students by teaching them skills that help them to self-monitor their behavior and choices.

As a classroom that is built on the principle of “community”, I promote student growth through opportunities to work with a variety of different children with a sense of shared interests in the classroom.  This includes the use and distribution of school supplies.  Thank you for your understanding in this matter….I know sometimes we all have “special” items that we like to keep for ourselves, so I truly appreciate your help supporting  your child's understanding.  I frequently explain to children that “If it is something special that you don’t want lost …. PLEASE do not bring it to school (jewelry, hats, etc..).” Inside the classroom, together we are the Trojans and we are a classroom full of Scholar Warriors. Our battle armor is our brain and knowledge! I look forward to learning, growing, and building positive lifelong relationships with my students.  I enjoy working out, playing video games and taking walks with my dog. I also like to shop and love shoes. My favorite teams are the Cowboys and Lakers. I also enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family.
