Hi! My name is Mrs. Maria Legg, and I am lucky to be your kindergarten teacher this year! This is my 2nd year at Mirage Elementary School. I love Kindergarten because of all the exploring, learning, and fun we get to have! 

I went to high school in Bradenton, Florida and graduated from Manatee High School. I went to Grand Canyon University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Social Work and a master's degree in Special Education. I love teaching and I can't wait to share all the exciting things you will learn this year!

You will get to know me well throughout the year but I would like to introduce myself formally. I was born in Syracuse, New York and moved to Tampa, Florida when I was 7. I have only lived in Arizona for 7 years. Before that, we lived at Fort Hood, Texas, Fort Benning, Georgia, back to Fort Hood, Texas, Fort Stewart, Georgia and now Glendale, Arizona. My husband Jeremy was in the Army, so we moved a lot. We have been married for 23years and we have 4 amazing children; Mya (23), Tyler (21), Skyler (19, and Kylie (16). We have 2 dogs and 3 cats as well as 3 grand-fur babies.

I love spending time with my family, especially going to San Antonio, Las Vegas, concerts, and the Suns basketball games. I can't wait to get to know you and learn about your family! I also can't wait to spend this year learning and growing with you!
