I am a proud AZ native, originally from Lake Havasu City. I began my educational career as a student, and I do my best to keep the student perspective at the forefront of everything I do as an educator. My goal is always to make sure my students feel seen and heard. I see the beauty in teaching English most, when my students make connections between their shared experiences; as we build each other up, we learn to be kinder to ourselves.
