Hello Families! My name is Sara Marano, or as known to your child, Mrs. Marano. I am a native of Arizona and obtained both my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Northern Arizona University. This is my 19th year teaching in the Deer Valley School District. Prior to teaching 2nd grade here at The Traditional Academy at Bellair, I taught 1st grade, 3rd grade & was a Reading Specialist. 

I have been married to my husband, Vince, for 7 years and we have a son, Bennett, who is three. We also have a wild lab puppy named Quinn and a fiesty cat, named Tresse. While I am a native of Arizona, my husband is originally from Ohio. This means Saturdays are reserved for cheering on the scarlet & gray, Ohio State, and Sundays are usually spent disappointed, when the Browns lose. 

I love to be active. I enjoy everything from hiking & working out to shopping and spending quality time with family and friends.
