I am thrilled to be a part of the Inspiration Mountain Knights family again this year. This year marks my 13th year teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District, where I've had the pleasure of being a part of the opening of IM.

My desire to become a teacher started at a very young age. I graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education while raising my family. Most of my teaching years have been in 4th grade, where I mostly taught mathematics.

My family and I are originally from Pennsylvania. We took a leap of faith some 25 years ago and moved to Arizona and never looked back. Our family is continuing to grow with 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren. We enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and spending time together. 

I am excited about the upcoming school year with my upcoming students.
