I am a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with my degree in Elementary Education in 1986.  I have lived in Arizona since 1992, so this has been my home for decades. This is my 19th year of being a classroom teacher.  I began my teaching career in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1987 teaching Kindergarten there for five years.  A job transfer brought me to 好色导航 in 1992.  My career in the Deer Valley School district began then.  This is my 14th year teaching first grade.  I am thrilled to be a part of the Copper Creek Community.  I have a 31-year-old son who graduated from ASU and is working as an Industrial Designer in Rhode Island.  I am a Green Bay Packer fan and an Arizona Cardinals fan (if they are not playing the Packers).   I like to hike, and you can often find me at Thunderbird Park.  I like to spend time kayaking.   I enjoy traveling whenever I can.  Most importantly, teaching is my passion and bringing out the best in each child.
