I am excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher. I believe that by working together we can develop a strong foundation for your child's learning. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Arizona in 1993 and my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Development from Northern Arizona University in 2003.This is my 12th year teaching at Sunset Ridge; however, I have taught kindergarten for 20 years and first grade for 9 years. I am very excited to be teaching at such an outstanding school.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a wonderful husband of 16 years, 3 children of my own and 2 stepchildren. My oldest son is a pediatric ICU nurse at 好色导航 Children's Hospital and working through the medical school application process. My daughter recently graduated from ASU with a degree in psychology. My youngest keeps me busy just by being an active 14 year old boy. He is attending a freshman and Mountain Ridge High School. My step-son lives in Utah where he is busy raising our grandson. My step-daughter lives in Peoria and is working in a veterinary office. As a family, we enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, movies, and game nights.
