Mrs. Tana Strow
I have been teaching for 23 years. I taught in the San Diego Unified School District for 9 years and in the Deer Valley School District for 14 years. I have taught Physical Education (K-8), First Grade and Kindergarten. I love teaching! Every day brings a new adventure, an adventure in discovery, learning, friendship and fun. I look forward to working with your child and getting to know his/her unique personality. I also look forward to creating a partnership with you in order to ensure a successful school year for your child.
I attended Glendale Community College where I earned my Associates Degree before heading to Northern Arizona University. At NAU, I earned a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education, History/Social Studies with a minor in Physical Education. At NAU I was honored to be a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. I did graduate work at San Diego State University in Elementary Education. I have Endorsements in Early Childhood Education, Structured English Immersion and Physical Education (K-12).
I truly feel I have the best job in the world, spending my days with elementary aged children, teaching and coaching them about fitness, sports and health!
