Mrs. Mrs. Strow

This is my story.....

I was born in San Diego, California and lived there until moving to 好色导航 in 1984.  I attended middle school at Sundance Elementary and high school at Peoria High School, both of which are in the Peoria School District.  I received my Associates Degree at Glendale Community College before heading to Northern Arizona University.  My last year at NAU I met the man of my dreams. We got married a year later.  We moved to Los Angeles where my husband was stationed in the United States Coast Guard. After my husband was discharged from the Coast Guard, we moved to San Diego where we lived for 11 years.  During those 11 years, I did graduate work at San Diego State University, taught in the San Diego Unified School District (I taught all 9 years at Kit Carson Elementary School, where my dad and aunt had attended from 1952-1962) and my husband, Tim and I also had two children during this time. Tim's work brought us back to Arizona in July of 2008 (it was nice and HOT).  When school started that August, my son, Tyler, was 5 years old and just entering kindergarten and my daughter Taylor was 3 years old.  From 2008 to 2010, I substitute taught at Legend Springs, where my son was attending.

Both my son and daughter attend Mountain Ridge High School. My son now serves as a Marine in the reserves as he finishes his degree at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. My daughter graduated from high school in 2023 and after taking time off to travel abroad, she is now living in Flagstaff and attending Northern Arizona University.  My husband and our two kiddos are the light of my life and my favorite thing to do is spend time with them.  In our free time, my husband and I enjoy getting together with friends, trips to the beach, the mountains, Lake Havasu (a sandbar is almost as good as a beach), camping (not such a fan myself, but my husband loves it) and watching movies.

My motto both at home and in the classroom is to work hard, play even harder, enjoy every minute, have a positive attitude and a giving spirit.

I look forward to another great year!!!
