Candice Roa
Candice Roa, Candice.roa@dvusd.org, a DVEF 17-18 teacher of the year is a graduate of Mountain Ridge, and has been in the Deer Valley school district for 13 years, 12 years which have been at Mountain Ridge High School. She has been teaching since 2005. She currently teaches Government and Economics for Mountain Ridge and various ELA and Social Studies classes for 好色导航Pathways .
She holds an Undergraduate degree in Secondary Education/History from Arizona State University, and a Graduate Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. She is certified in Economics, History, Government, and English Language Arts. Ms. Roa has taught AP World History, World History, US History, Economics, Government, ELA grades 7-12, and Law in Society.
