Mrs. Katie Stevenson
My name is Katie Stevenson (formerly Katie Holley) and I am from Sunny San Diego, California. I started out my teaching career here at West Wing in 2013, and I am so blessed to still be part of this amazing school. I obtained my Bachelors degree from Northern Arizona University in Elementary Education with a Certificate in Early Childhood. I also received my Master’s degree, from NAU, in Elementary Education with an Emphasis on Reading K-8. I am a teacher with a fun, energetic personality, and a passion for teaching. I am very excited to be part of your child's first year at West Wing.
A little more about me: I come from a big family of 6 kids with two wonderful parents! I have been with my husband, Kenny, since we were 19 years old.(We have known each other since 3rd grade!!) We got married in March 2019. We have one son, Kenny, who was born in April 2020. We have a 16-year-old Yorkie named Turbo too! Our family is really into traveling, whether it be by car or plane. My husband is a flight attendant, so we are blessed with the ability to hop on a plane at a moment's notice. I have been to 32 states, and roughly 14 countries. I can't wait to get to know each of you this year.
