Hello! My name is Richard Weyker. I am the Social Studies Department Chair for Sandra Day O'Connor High School. I teach AP Macroeconomics/AP Government, POS 110 (a Dual Enrollment course through Rio Sallado College), Economics and Government. In addition to teaching, I sponsor the Model U.N. club. For the Pathways summer program, I will be teaching Economics, Government and US History.

I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. I moved to 好色导航 9 years ago to begin a career in education after graduating from University of Arizona with a Bachelors in Political Science and a Masters in Teaching and Teacher Education.

I love to read everything that I can. I play the guitar (although not very well). I love to travel, go hiking and watch old movies that I wish more people still saw.

Teaching is the most fulfilling job I have ever had. Sandra Day O'Connor High School has provided an amazing environment to grow and develop the craft of being an educator. I'm excited about the opportunity every day brings to be a positive influence on my students.
