Welcome to my teacher website! I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to share a little bit about myself with you. 

I was born and raised in Glendale, AZ, and education has always played a significant role in my life. In fact, I was a student in the Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD) throughout my entire educational journey. After graduating from Mountain Ridge High School in 2004, I knew that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of young learners, so I pursued a degree in business education at Arizona State University.

Currently, I am embarking on my 13th year as an educator, and I couldn't be more excited. This is my third year teaching at Mountain Ridge, and I feel fortunate to be able to give back to the school that provided me with an excellent education. Prior to returning to Ridge, I taught in the Agua Fria High School District at Millennium High School, where I gained valuable experience and honed my teaching skills.

Teaching is not just a job for me; it's my true passion. I find great joy and fulfillment in helping my students learn and grow, both academically and personally. Witnessing the "aha" moments and seeing my students' progress is incredibly rewarding.

When I'm not in the classroom, I cherish spending quality time with my family. They bring immense joy to my life, and their support has been instrumental in my teaching journey. Additionally, I believe in the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle, so you can often find me engaged in various physical activities. Staying up to date on the latest business news is another one of my interests, as it allows me to continuously expand my knowledge and provide relevant insights to my students.

Finally, music holds a special place in my heart. Whether I'm listening to my favorite tunes or discovering new artists, music has a way of inspiring and uplifting me. I believe it can be a powerful tool for fostering creativity and creating a positive learning environment.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to teach and inspire the next generation of leaders. Together, we can embark on a transformative educational journey that empowers students to reach their full potential. I look forward to every day as an educator and can't wait to see what we can accomplish together.
