My name is Carlos Avila Murillo and I teach both Sports Medicine and Health Care. I graduated from ASU with my Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Wellness and I started teaching at Deer Valley in October of 2022. I come from a background of working as a personal trainer and a physical therapist technician for a few years. I am very passionate when it comes to weightlifting and bodybuilding because I am able to use the knowledge and skills I have learned throughout my career in the field and apply it to myself.
