I was born in a city called Grapevine, Texas, which sits right outside of Dallas. In 2007, I moved to the valley with my family, attending schools within 好色导航for the better part of my schooling until eventually graduating from Mountain Ridge High School as the #1 student of my class. After being rejected from Yale and waitlisted at Notre Dame, I looked south to Tempe and pursued my Bachelor’s in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English from Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude. 

I began teaching at Deer Valley high school in 2023, and I am so proud to be a skyhawk. My goal is that once my students leave my English class, they will be armed with the reading, writing, and speaking and listening skills needed to think critically, make sense of the world around them, and effectively communicate their thoughts with others. My top priority is that each of my students is successful to the fullest of their abilities, and supported to the fullest of mine, so please don't hesitate to reach out with questions when you have them. 

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers lose games they should win, and playing the drums and the banjo, though not at the same time (yet).
