Hello! My name is Sarah Rittenhouse and I would love to welcome you to our Fine Arts Program at Deer Valley High School!

I have taught quite a variety of subjects over the years, including English, Math, Technology, Art, Ceramics, and even three years teaching teachers! I was lucky enough to start teaching Art and Ceramics at Deer Valley High School in 2023 and I am loving every minute of it!

When not at school, I am usually found spending time with my husband and two beautiful little girls, painting, throwing on the wheel, reading, or hiking (weather permitting:) 

I am so grateful to have found a position where I get to combine two of my favorite things- teaching and making art! The Arts benefit students in a myriad of ways- helping them to not only grow their creativity, but their critical thinking, problem solving, and ability to take risks as well. I look forward to working with all students in the Fine Arts Program. Go Skyhawks!
