There is a document on my teacher's website, on the course calendar page, for students and parents to know how the due dates/close dates work. The due dates are Tuesday and Friday each week, with the close date being the last day students can submit assignments/assessments on their own. There is no penalty for submitting late work. However, the system automatically enters a zero in the grade book. When the assignment is submitted and then graded, the grade earned replaces the zero grade. The close date is the last day to submit assignments and assessments. Between the due date and the close date, students can still submit assignments and assessments.

To keep zeros out of the gradebook, turn in assignments and assessments on time. If you earn a zero on an assignment, I will leave feedback on what you need to do to revise and resubmit the assignment.
