My name is Hang Mai; I am a dedicated and passionate educator with a multicultural background and commitment to education.

I hold a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Special Ed. This is my 10th year with the District. I was a Special Education Teacher for 9 years. This is my 1st year at Paseo Hills as an ELL Specialist. I am so excited to be an ELL specialist with the hope of helping students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, helping them develop the English language skills necessary for academic success and everyday communication. My approach is student-centered, focusing on building students' confidence and competence in both spoken and written English.

I am married with  three children: two of my children are currently in high school and I have a 15-month-old baby girl. 

Balancing a busy career and family life, I find joy, relaxation and creativity in cooking and baking, often experimenting with new recipes and sharing meals with my loved ones.
